Burnished aquatint by Ramiro de Undabeytia

Ramiro de Undabetia was born in Madrid in 1952.
He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Madrid from 1962-1969. He came in contact withengraving at the workshop of Antonio Lorenzo 1967 then collaborated with “el Grupo 15” from 1971-1985.

He established his own workshop to give technical classes in engraving in 1979. Undabeytia has been a professor, teachingengraving in the Centro Cultural Nicholas Salmerón, and has worked as an illustrator of editorials.
