McMILLAN, Stephen 9" x 12" and under, aquatint etching, Edition: 60, Year: 1988

"When I was drawing this print I decided to try something different. I dropped rosin on the plate, and then dragged a large brush over it before melting it onto the plate. That is how the "blizzard" effect was gotten.

One day I accidentally printed the plate without re-inking it. Usually this results in a throwaway, but this time I liked what it did, so decided to print this "ghost" edition." -Stephen McMillan
