Thomas is painter, muralist, set-designer, book illustrator and printmaker. Living in Nantes, France, he brings a sense of whimsey to his skilled linework in his etchings.

Bite, dig, burn at first,
then immerse in an acid bath.
I scratch, I torture the plate in all directions. I burn, I cook the resin,
varnish, white-spirit, acetone ...
Stripping, inking, mixing, wiping and pressing ...
to finally reveal the print so fine, so unique, so delicate.
All this tedious and brutal process for what is called "intaglio".
This is why I am a printmaker!
