2015 International Mezzotint Festival in Yekaterinburg Russia

In 2015 Mission Gallery was asked to curate an exhibit of mezzotints based on our collection and current show: Mezzotint/Maniere Noire We were proud to participate in what has become the most important event for mezzotint printmakers in the world. We shipped 70 works by both French and American artists to Russia and the United States State Department sponsored Piper's travel to attend the festival, give a tour of our exhibit and a workshop about American gallery business. The artists included in our exhibit were: Mikio Watanabe - France, Peter Jogo - USA, Judith Rothchild - France, Jeri Fisher - USA, Laurent Schkolnyk - France, Leonardo Nunez - USA, Michel Estebe - France, and Sharon Mitchell - USA.
